Some users have reported that they are unable to successfully connect via the Applet. A variety of reasons may exist, including browser security settings, OS-compatability, Java version etc. As an alternative method, we propose downloading the NX Client (application used to remotely run ADempiere) and running it locally. The steps involved are:

1. Download the free "NX Client Desktop Edition" for your OS from NoMachine's Web Site. It is a fairly small download.
2. Follow the instuctions for your operating system.
3. Download the NX Session script for Demo-Adempiere.idalica.net that will be used to connect into the Demo Application. Unzip and save the file "adempiere-demo.nxs" it to a familiar place.
4. Launch the NX Client by double-clicking on the NX Session script downloaded in the step above (file contained within the zip file). For Linux/Unix users, you can launch it from terminal sesssion by using "nxclient ", replacing with the file you downloaded in step 3.
